Flora and Milla Milla are partnering to launch Milla FC, a film club celebrating stories that bring together Africa, football, and cinema.
We’re kicking things off with our first screening: Freedom Fields (2018) by Naziha Arebi, an intimate look at post-revolution Libya through the eyes of an aspiring all-female football team. Their fight for acceptance mirrors the broader challenges facing women in contemporary Libyan society, a love letter to sisterhood and the power of teamwork.
